There is no prior selection of individual sessions.

The Messianic idea in Judaism
​The messianic idea is weaved through Jewish thought and tradition. While many of us are either indifferent or offended by the messianic core of our religion it is impossible to escape its existence. The dream of bringing the messiah and world redemption lies at the heart of so many of our holidays and customs. But thousands of years of many false Jewish messiahs have disconnected us from our core belief of the coming of the messiah. Please join me as we study some of the Jewish texts in which the messianic idea is taught, discuss the destructive outcome of false messiahs throughout our history, and examine the need for a belief in messiah yet to come.
