LimmudVan ’15 is a coproduction of Limmud Vancouver and the Vancouver Jewish Community Center.
Please Note:  Registration for Limmud is for the day’s activities. 
There is no prior selection of individual sessions.  
All sessions are open to all registered participants until all seats are filled.

Dyeing to Know Torah
From the blue techelet of the prayer shawl to the scarlet reds of the tabernacle, the dyeing arts are a foundational part of the world of the Torah and Jewish history up to modern times. We will have a hands-on wool dyeing session using all plant-based dyes, and we will explore some Torah around why different dyes held different meanings in our history.
